Zhejiang Pusen New Material Technology Co., Ltd was founded in 1976 and restructured into a joint-stock company in 1998. Its registered capital is 12.1 million yuan (12 100 000 RBM). It awarded as a national high-tech enterprise in 2013.

   PUSEN is not only an integrated enterprise comprising of research and development, production, sales and service, but also a military supporting enterprise with advanced production & inspection equipment and quality control system. As early as in 2000, PUSEN began to cooperate with Zhejiang University, with leading technology and rigorous scientific internal management, independent research and development "PUSEN" brand series, such as high-quality thermal insulation, fire-resistant insulation, acoustic noise insulation and absorption, cold insulation products. Flagship products, including ceramic wool, glass wool, rock wool, mineral wool, flame retardant fabrics, fire-retardant adhesive, insulating materials for LNG, are widely used in shipbuilding, nuclear power, electric power and chemical industry.

   PUSEN passed the certificate of the ISO9001 quality management system in 1999, got the certifications of domestic and foreign classification societies, such as CCS, DNV, ABS, LR, GL, BV, EC, and NK, the licenses of Chinese naval, Chinese nuclear power, electric power, chemical and other industries. Naval Mineral Wool Fireproof Heat-Insulating Product (PS-2) won the National Invention Patent, National Secret Patents and National Torch Program Projects. A method of preparation of high compression strength rigid polyurethane foam won the invention patents. A method of reducing the plasticizing temperature and improving the strength of PVC foam won the invention patents. Light “A30 fireproof bulkhead” product is level A and passed the technical appraisal of Navy Equipment Department, won the third Scientific and Technological Achievements Awards of Chinese People's Liberation Army. PS-5 won the award of Provincial High-tech Products.

PUSEN accomplished four “No.1” in China.

Ø First to get the Certification of Germanischer Lloyd (GL), substitute for import products;

Ø First to supply anti-radiation materials for the nuclear island of the localization project – Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant Phase II, substitute for French import products;

Ø First to supply thermal insulation, fireproof, anti-corrosion, sound insulation materials to China's first aircraft carrier;

Ø First to supply cold insulating materials to China’s first LNG carrier. This series filled the domestic gap, and is “863” National Project.

   For next，PUSEN will focus on the market expanding in the fields of LNG fueling station, LNG carrier, wind power, as well as the shipbuilding markets in Japan and Korea. Promote the application of PS-3 which has passed the certificate of Navy Equipment Department in June 2013 in warships. In 2014, PUSEN allied with the Chinese Academy of engineering, Sun Jianliang, established “PUSEN Academician Workstation”, focus on the researching of armor for warships, titanium carbon fiber material and vacuum heat insulation material etc.
